Kaylea's school hosted a fall festival. There were so many people there but she had fun.

Pumpkins
We finally found the time to crave the pumpkins 4 days before Halloween. Here's our pumpkin family.
I was trying to take some picture of the pumpkins without the flash so you could see them lite up. It didn't turn out like I thought but it looks pretty cool, almost 3d.
Pumpkin Patch Time
Their is a local church that sells pumpkins every year. Everyday when Kaylea and I pass it she asks me if its pumpkin patch time. I have to explain to her that pumpkins only grown in the late summer and fall. When it was finally pumpkin patch time I could no longer pass it without stopping. I could only get 1 picture she was to excited and running all over the place. She was so proud of the pumpkins she picked out. She picked 1 for her daddy, 1 for her mommy, 1 for herself and 1 baby one for princess.

Horse Riding
Let me start off by saying I have not rode a horse in several years. Josh took Kaylea riding horses the weekend I went to the beach with the girls. Ever since then Kaylea has been begging to go horse riding again.... so we did. We had the best time. Josh and Kaylea rode together and I rode by myself. We rode through the woods and down the creek. Kaylea got to go swimming at the creek. She got a kick out of the horses walking down the creek she said 'they were swimming'. The horse that Josh and Kaylea was riding didn't like to be left by himself. So when we were getting read to leave the creek and headed back home, the leading horses started up the hill. Right before Josh was about to get on his horse....his horse just took off without them. I caught the horse and saved the day. Kaylea said I was her hero. Here is a few pictures of our trip.
Kaylea and I before we saddled up the horses
Look at her in that buddy saddle... she even had her on stirrups. I thought that was so cute!
Kaylea about to get in that freezing cold water.... she loved it
After the trip. She was wore out.

Weekend with the Girls
My boss has a condo on the beach in Gulf Shores. He let us girls from the office stay this past weekend. Keep in mind Josh hasn't work and I was broke. I have been saving for several weeks now for the trip, then things would come up to where I would need some of that money that I've been saving. I ended up taking $40 and I came home with $7. So I spent $33 for a weekend at the beach. That's pretty good. This was the first time I've been away from Berrydale since the fire, besides Mobile when I visited LaJuan and her family. It was like I was a kid again.. I was so excited. We had a great time. We layed on the beach and around the pool all day Saturday and we even went to LuLu's (suppose to be a famous eating place in Gulf Shores). Here is some pictures from my trip.
Our view from the Condo... Penthouse
Our view from the chairs around the pool.
Mom would appreciate this picture of the bird
This is Friday night when we got there. It was so windy from Hurricane Ike especially 20 stories up.
At Lulu's. It took us 2 hours getting dressed and we only stayed an hour. I think I had more fun getting dressed.
Us being silly Saturady night
Veggin on the beach
Hurray!!!!! My Husband is employed.
As some of you might know Josh has been out of work for about 2 months now. It all happened so fast, but he is now employed. We will get his first pay check next Friday 9/26. I can't wait. It has been a huge challenge for me and my family to make it. We would not have been able to do it without the help of my family and God. (Thanks LaJuan and momma for all of your help. Love you guys.) He is working for a company called F&S Environmental which is contracted with FEMA. He does have to work out of town Monday through Friday and he is should be home on the weekends. He will be working in Gulfport Mississippi for a while. His first work order is to check the smoke detectors in all of the FEMA camper trailers & mobile homes, if there is holes in the walls to fix them etc ... no where as hard of work as what he has been doing for the past 10 years.
At first I was a little scared of Kaylea and I being by ourselves, but were big girls we can do it. Please do keep us in our prayers that God will keep Kaylea and I safe while we are by ourselve and to keep Josh safe whilehe is working in Mississippi.

House Warming Party
I finally got around to having a house warming party. It turned out so good. We cook fried chicken and had all the works... potato salad, bake bean, Candy's pasta salad, Mom's awsome broccoli casserole and corn. The food was great and I got a ton of stuff. Thank you everyone for the gifts. I appreciate them all so much. I think everyone enjoyed it. It was like a family cookout. The kids played and everyone else talked and had a good time. I know Kaylea had a great time... If you notice she has a different dress on in a couple of the pictures. She changed cloths at least 5 time during the party. She loves having company over.

Bath Time
Now when Kaylea takes a bath she wants to wash herself and her hair. Last night when she was washing her hair, she said she was making art work with her hair. I was laughing so hard my stomach was hurting.
New Addition to the Crew
Yesterday Kaylea was very ill after school, she didn't take a nap during school, she had gotten up extremely early that morning and didn't fall asleep at her bedtime the night before. Once I got home Josh offered to take Kaylea to her MewMaw's house to wake her up and hopefully get her in a better mood. I was in the kitchen cooking supper when they come back and right after I hear the front door shut I also hear a "meow". Kaylea had conned her dad in bringing home a kitty. She already had her named before they made it back to the house. I do admit "Princess" is very cute. I'm not a huge fan of cats so Princess is going to be an outside cat.

Baby Landon
I am a proud aunt of a hansom liitle boy named Landon. Douglas and Juliette has their baby last Tuesday @ 12:26am. He weight 6 pound 9 ounces. He is so cute.
1st day of School
Kaylea starting Pre-K yesterday. She attends Kids Discovery. She loves it. She had a great time and met a lot of new friends. She told me yesterday "they even have dress up dresses isn't that cool". I think we are going to see her personality blossom in the next year. Her being in school, meeting new people learning new things everyday. I'm so proud of her.
Nolan's Birthday Party
Nolan is Kaylea's cousin and he had a birthday party this past weekend. They rented a huge slip & slide . We all had a great time.

Kaylea Bug
This is my little princess. She is into dressing up. She wants to wear a dress or skirt everyday to daycare. This picture was taken this morning. She had a fit to wear the outfit that her Aunt LaJuan got her for her Birthday.
